Canceling your owner plan: what happens to your listings
You can cancel your Month ‘n’ More owner plan renewal any time. Your plan runs to the end of its term and your listings and account stay. Here’s how it works.
“Can I cancel any time?” is one of the questions we hear most, often from owners moving over from another platform who want to know they won’t be locked in. The short answer is yes. Here’s what canceling actually means on Month ‘n’ More, what happens to your listings, and what to think about before you do it.
The short version
- You can cancel any time. Turn off automatic renewal from your owner dashboard, or email admin@monthnmore.com.
- Your plan keeps running to the end of the term you paid for. You won’t be charged again.
- There are no partial refunds for unused time.
- Your account and listings aren’t deleted. They just stop appearing publicly once the plan ends.
First: are you on automatic renewal at all?
Many owners don’t need to cancel anything. Owner plans on Month ‘n’ More are one-time purchases by default. If you bought a one-year or six-month plan without opting in to automatic renewal, it simply ends at the close of its term. No further charge, nothing to switch off.
Automatic renewal is opt-in. If you chose it when you bought your plan, it renews at the end of each term for the same length, at the price in effect then, until you cancel. If prices ever increase, owners on automatic renewal get an email at least 30 days before the new price applies, so there’s time to decide.
Not sure which you have? Your owner dashboard shows your plan and its renewal setting.
How to cancel automatic renewal
- Sign in and open your owner dashboard.
- Find your plan and choose to cancel automatic renewal.
- Pick a reason from the short list. It helps us improve.
- That’s it. Your plan shows its end date and won’t renew.
Prefer email? Write to admin@monthnmore.com from the address on your account and ask us to cancel your renewal.
To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date.
What happens to your listings
Here’s the timeline most owners want to see:
Right after you cancel. Nothing changes. Your listings stay public, renters can still find them and message you, and you keep full access to everything your plan includes until the term ends.
When the term ends. Public listings need an active paid plan with an open listing space. Once your plan ends, your listings stop appearing publicly in search. Renters won’t see them, and new inquiries stop.
After that. Your account and listing drafts remain. Canceling renewal doesn’t delete your account or your listings. If you buy a new plan later, you can bring them back. Edits to key details may go through review again.
Current renters aren’t affected by your plan. Leases, rent and deposits are arranged directly between you and your renter, outside Month ‘n’ More. A renter already staying with you keeps the terms you agreed together. If you’re mid-conversation with someone, make sure you’ve finished the details before your listing goes quiet.

What about a listing boost?
A listing boost runs for the days you bought, starting when payment is confirmed. If your plan ends or your listing is paused during a boost, the boost period keeps running and unused days aren’t refunded. If you’re planning to cancel soon, it usually doesn’t make sense to buy a new boost.
Refunds, plainly
Month ‘n’ More fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. That covers partly used terms, unused listing spaces, unused boost days, and listings that weren’t approved or were paused. Canceling renewal stops future charges but doesn’t refund the current term.
What we will always do is fix our own mistakes. If you think you were charged in error, for example a duplicate charge or a renewal charge after you canceled in time, email admin@monthnmore.com within 60 days of the charge. We’ll review it and correct any billing error. Full details are in Section 13 of the Terms of Service.
Other options before you cancel
Canceling isn’t the only way to change things. Depending on why you’re stepping back:
- Taking a break? You can pause a listing yourself. Paused listings aren’t shown publicly, and you can unpause later within your term.
- Want a shorter commitment? If you’re on automatic renewal, you can switch between annual and six-month renewal. The change takes effect at the end of your current term, with no immediate charge and no proration.
- Have fewer places now? The owner plan includes two listings. If you added extra properties, you can simply not renew them with your next plan.
- Selling or handing over a property? A listing can be transferred to another verified account. Our team reviews transfer requests.
- Something not working? Tell us. Ask Nia, our assistant, open a support case from your account, or visit the Help Center.
Coming back later
If you return, choose a new plan on the Pricing page. If your owner ID check has expired (it lasts six months), you’ll renew it first. Then review your listing details, refresh photos if anything has changed, and submit. Every listing is reviewed before it becomes public again. Read what happens after you submit a listing for review.
Quick answers
Can I cancel any time? Yes, any time, from your owner dashboard or by email.
